Ben & Lisa~ Waterton Wedding Photographer

Gusts of wind kept it interesting- but luckily we had a fantastic group that kept in great spirits. Ben & Lisa were married in the beautiful area of Waterton National Park. Even with the wind blowing, there were no lack of smiles or laughter and we were happy to be a part of this fun couple’s day.  We started out at the Bayshore Inn, while everyone was getting ready- and Lisa had her hair and makeup done by some of her close friends.  The bridesmaids wore navy blue (dresses by David’s Bridal in Calgary) with just the perfect pop of color -yellow shoes! And this included our bride as well.  The flowers were purchased from Costco and Lisa’s friend put them all together for the final touch.  The guys styled gray suits with yellow ties from Suited Menswear!  When everything came together, the colors worked seamlessly for this beautiful June wedding!

 

 

We then headed outside as the ceremony was about to start where Gary Marchuk was the Justice of the Peace.   The wind was still at it, but not enough to make it unmanageable.   Lisa looked radiant as she approached her soon-to-be husband, and Ben was completely in awe as she was escorted down the aisle.  The love in his eyes was evident as family & friends watched these two unite as husband & wife.

 

Following the ceremony, we headed further down the lake and poor Jen (my 2nd photographer for the day) was nearly blown away while holding lights.  We shot in between the crazy wind gusts so hair would somewhat stay in place.  With constant laughter through out the day- everyone was a blast!

 

As we headed into the evening, there were lots of fun happening throughout the hall.  The decor was exquisite and Thom from Pyramid entertainment kept everyone dancing throughout the night. We had a Photo Booth set up as well for lots more laughs.  All in all, it was a terrific and memorable day for Ben & Lisa and the special people in their life.   A big congratulations going out to the both of them!
