Evan & Chelsey~ Lethbridge Wedding Photographer
Evan & Chelsey had an amazing day together as they said their vows before all of their family & friends. The timeline was a little more “untraditional”, with having the ceremony after both the formal pictures and family pictures, but this completely worked!! With trends changing, we are definitely seeing this more often as couples plan their wedding.
We started the day out at Union Salon, located in downtown Lethbridge. This picturesque salon was the perfect area for pictures as the girls glammed themselves up for the big day. Definitely a favourite on our list of salons here in Lethbridge!
Evan and his crew didn’t have quite as much details to consider as the girls in the getting ready department, but they definitely did not disappoint as they styled grey suits with navy blue satin ties and handkerchiefs from Moore’s clothing store here in Lethbridge. With Jennifer as the second photographer, I didn’t have to worry about not getting moments happening simultaneously. She was on it! Thanks Jen!!
Evan & Chelsey set it up where they could do a “First Look” in her parents backyard. It was high noon and hot, but Chelsey looked radiant as she stepped out of the house and Evan saw her for the first time in her dress. A beautiful way to celebrate each other in as private setting as possible (minus US of course to photograph it)
We then headed over to the Lethbridge Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens where we photographed them both in the beautiful setting of the gardens. The bridal party then joined us a bit later and the we had lots of great laughs with everyone before heading out to Henderson Park for family photos and then on to the ceremony held at Country Kitchen Catering (just below the Lethbridge Keg Steakhouse).
The team at Country Kitchen catering did an absolute beautiful job in both set up of the ceremony and a quick turnaround for the reception following shortly after. We always love working with everyone there! The decor, food and service are a big part of why this venue is another high recommendation on our list! 🙂

As the night went on, speeches started…and honest truth…they were amazing! A little bit of laughter, emotion and a LOT of tears from everyone (including us). This family knows how to pull at the heart strings and you could tell how much love they have in this family! We were so glad to have been able to capture these special moments and meet everyone.
It was truly an honour capturing Evan & Chelsey’s special day. A big congratulations going out to them both and to their families.
HiWay Productions was the DJ for the dance and got everyone out dancing and having a good time. All in all- a fantastic party with the celebrations continuing well into the night. And a big shout out to Simply Beautiful Productions as well as California Dream Limousine. We had a wonderful experience working with Simply Beautiful Productions while she did video of Evan & Chelsey’s day. She was amazing to work with and would strongly recommend her for videography services. The California Dream limousine driver (didn’t catch his name?!) was both courteous and fun in helping our couple enjoy their day.
