Joel & Erin ~ Readymade Community Centre- Coaldale Wedding Photographer

This September wedding turned out beautiuflly for Joel & Erin. There was the perfect amount of fun, laughter, beauty and connection as well as the most stunning sunset to cap it off.

I had the opportunity to work with Joel and Erin last year for their engagement photos, and you could truly see their great connection right away. They have an equal amount of humour between them both as well as a fun, goofy side and you could see that even more as the day went on.

I started out meeting the girls on the west side of Lethbridge, while they were getting ready and helping Erin. They all had fun matching shirts along with labelled jars for some pre-wedding drinks together before the day got started. The bridesmaids dresses were the same, but could change styles, and each bridesmaid had it wrapped a unique way, adding diversity through the group. There were shawls that went with it as well with fun labels that had Joel and Erin’s wedding date.

Jen met the guys in Coaldale and then headed out to the Readymade Community Centre afterwards, where the ceremony was to take place. They had the cutest little ring bearer and flower girl who did an amazing job! Erin made all the boutonnieres herself!

 

Erin decided to plan out some extra time just before the ceremony was to take place, for a first look with here dad. These are always the sweetest moments, and in the craziness of the day, its so great to take a few minutes, slow down the day and remember the most special moments. Erin looked stunning and both her dad were both brought to tears as his only daughter was about to get married….and perhaps… a couple from both Jen and I too (dang you guys! It was a tearjerker moment of sure!)

The reception was held at the Readymade Community Hall as well and it was the perfect venue size. The decoration services were from Lethbridge Event Rentals and the catering was by LA Chefs and they really impressed everyone with the amount and quality of the food.

DJ Services were by Al’s Audio (located in Medicine Hat)

Lethbridge Event Rentals -“David and Ali and the rest of their team were fantastic, they were prompt and easy to work with and they made my vision of the tables come to life. We got the string lights for the ceiling, table runners, napkins, chair covers, head table linens and chairs for the ceremony. David suggested the half moon and it completed the head table, I couldn’t have imagined anything better!” ~ Erin

 

It was truly an honour capturing Joel and Erins special day together and getting the chance to meet all their family and friends. Biggest congratulations and best wishes as they embark on this next journey together.
