Lethbridge Wedding Photographer- Jody & Terra

Jody and Terra picked the perfect day to be married. You wouldn’t think that a January wedding would be warm, but the sun was certainly smiling down on Jody and Terra’s day which made for some beautiful images!  We started the day at Heritage Hall where they did a first look. The bride and groom both had a few jitters until the moment they saw each other, then the nerves faded away and the love in the room was palpable. Jody was moved to tears as he turned and saw Terra walking toward him, it was such a tender moment and we were honoured to be there to capture it. Her dress was absolutely stunning and was the perfect choice from David’s Bridal with a beautiful bouquet she made herself!  Terra’s makeup was done by Erin Kinney.  Jody styled a suit from Tip Top Tailors and they both complimented each other perfectly.

The ceremony was held at Heritage Hall on the exhibition grounds which was decorated beautifully! Terra picked her music and timed it perfectly with the walk down the aisle. The ladies all looked lovely in their dresses as they walked down the aisle, and the flower girl was adorable as she dropped rose petals for Terra’s entrance. Terra’s father walked her down the aisle accompanied by beautiful music. Terra’s dress was stunning and fit to perfection. The ceremony was simple and perfect with personalized vows and a beautiful tender kiss.

After the ceremony, we took the family bridal party to Henderson Lake where the sun was shining and the lake was shimmering. There were tender family moments as we captured the first pictures of this beautiful new family. The bridal party was super cooperative as the gathered around Jody and Terra to celebrate this amazing day. The party rode a fabulous party bus over to the Japanese gardens where we captured moments of celebration and joy with the whole party as well as intimate and tender moments between Jody and Terra.

The reception celebrations were held back at Heritage Hall, and we had to capture a picture of their absolutely stunning cake!! It was crafted by the Coaldale Bakery and we can’t say enough good things about this place.   Definitely worth checking out for wedding cakes if you’re looking 🙂

It was so beautiful to see the love between these two and see them taking some of their first steps in this next journey together.
