Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards- 2019

Last month I had the honour of photographing the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year awards. Truth be told, I’ve never attended the event until this year. And I must say, I was very impressed by not only the event itself, but by the amazing accomplishments achieved by businesses right here in our own community! Lethbridge- you ARE impressive.

This event wouldn’t be possible without all the many sponsors who helped in the celebration of the accomplishments of our local businesses & entrepreneurs. Those of us in business, know the challenges and struggles that occur for success to happen. And during those tough times throughout the year when we are at our lowest and challenges are at their height.. (don’t tell me you haven’t felt that because it happens to everyone!), things DO start to look up eventually if the work is put in. Those of you that keep at it…even during the hard, will see the other side of business. The wonderful, the good, the success and the passion that brought you to start it in the first place. The fire is re-lit and away you go and amazing things happen! Cheers to you all- business is not easy!

What an inspiring business community we have, and support given to fellow entrepreneurs to go further and reach goals that will elevate them to that next level. The chamber of commerce here in Lethbridge has set aside a night of celebration to those individuals and I applaud them for taking the time recognize these businesses. The event was full of lots of energy from those in attendance as well as those on stage. The laughter was contagious and I am definitely looking forward to next years event. If you haven’t had a chance to attend or want to know more about what the chamber is all about, then definitely get in contact. What a great boost for our local businesses.
